The Cross
For many Pentecostal believers in Assemblies of God, Pentecostal Holiness, and Church of God traditions, the cross is far more than a historical event. It is the living source of God’s grace and power in our lives today. The cross reveals both God’s deep love and His perfect justice—showing His mercy while also upholding His holiness.
Because of the cross, believers experience forgiveness, salvation, and new life through Jesus Christ. But the power of the cross does not stop at salvation. It continues to shape the way believers live every day, empowering them to walk in faith and transformation.
For Pentecostal believers, the cross is not simply a moment in history. It is the center of God’s plan of redemption and the source of spiritual power for everyday life. Through the cross, God demonstrates both His justice and His mercy.
Believers trust the cross for salvation, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life. At the same time, the cross empowers Christians to live transformed lives through faith and obedience.
